Refund and Exchange Policy

We have a 48-hour refund policy, which means you have 48 hours after receiving your item to request a refund. Refund requests outside of this time frame will not be honoured.

To receive your refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags.

To request a refund, you can email us at customerservice@shopmakiti.com or request a refund from your customer account.

We’ll send you delivery information where you can send your order. Please note that you are liable for the cost of the return delivery.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can make it right ASAP.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like underwear, swimwear and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

Maybe the item doesn't fit or you just don't like it. That's okay! You can exchange your items, you can reach out to us via email at customerservice@shopmakiti.com or you can request an exchange from your customer account and we'll sort it out for you. Please note, you are liable to pay another delivery fee on any exchange order.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and process the refund. All refunds are processed by Paystack and you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method. The delivery fee will be deducted from your refund balance.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank to process and post the refund.
